Field Use Policy


Request for Franklin Recreation Field Use

This form is to assist teams/group gatherings requesting use of the Franklin Recreation fields. This includes the softball, baseball, soccer fields and the batting cage.

The fields are open for all citizens when not in use by little league or other Franklin recreation activities. Franklin Recreation activities take priority over all other activities requested.

When a field use is requested this completed form should be submitted to the Franklin Recreation Department. The requesting person/group will be notified of permission for field use by the Recreation department director. Full payment and proof of insurance for requested activity if necessary will be required before field preparation is started.

Field preparation will include opening the gate, lining the field, putting out bases if needed, and dragging the field if indicated. Field preparation will be performed by Franklin Recreation. 

******* No trash is to be left after the event.  The Bring it In, Take it Out rule applies.*********
Any removal of trash by the Recreation department will be charged to the requested person.

Cost: Cost is dependent on the activity; Batting cage is free- user is responsible for taking out and putting away. Payment is made to Franklin Recreation.
