Try It Out with Franklin Recreation!Our fall field hockey clinics offer a fun and welcoming way to get active, meet new people, and learn the basics of field hockey — no experience needed. Whether it’s the first time playing a team sport or a chance to improve existing skills, this is a great place to start. Led by Coach Emma, an experienced coach and former collegiate field hockey player, the clinics focus on fundamental skills, teamwork, and having a great time on the field. Clinic details: Open to grades 1–6 No prior sports or field hockey experience required Sticks and shin guards available to borrow Cleats are helpful but not required Limited mouthguards available (first come, first served — please indicate if one is needed) Clinics are free but registration is required Saturday afternoons starting 9/27 2pm (no clinics 10/11 or 10/18) Come give it a try — it might just become a new favorite sport!
