Curious About Field Hockey? Try It Out with Franklin Recreation!
Our summer field hockey clinics offer a fun and welcoming way to get active, meet new people, and learn the basics of field hockey — no experience needed. Whether it’s the first time playing a team sport or a chance to improve existing skills, this is a great place to start.
Led by Coach Emma, an experienced coach and former collegiate field hockey player, the clinics focus on fundamental skills, teamwork, and having a great time on the field.
Clinic details:
- Open to grades 1–6
- No prior sports or field hockey experience required
- Sticks and shin guards available to borrow
- Cleats are helpful but not required
- Limited mouthguards available (first come, first served — please indicate if one is needed)
- Clinics are free but registration is required
